This update brings redesigned widgets, better iPad layouts, and clearer ways to manage your Home Assistant home.
• Redesigned Home Screen widgets
Control favorite devices from a new tile layout, with up to eight devices in the large widget. Updated Energy widgets show power readings, daily totals, and 24-hour charts, including a new large size.
• More room on iPad
Home and Rooms now use multi-column layouts. Routine cards show every step, Settings makes better use of the screen, and all your tabs are available in the sidebar.
• Keep your lists clear
Automatically hide unavailable, unknown, or blank entities. Review hidden items and choose exceptions to keep visible. Hidden items return when they report again.
• Manage updates in the app
Check your Home Assistant version, backup status, and pending updates. Read release notes and install supported updates, with a backup option where available.
• Clearer history and activity
Follow sensor trends with smoother charts, readable changes, and clear “No Data” indicators. Buttons, scenes, and events now show when they were used.
• Easier everyday navigation
Reach Issues, Energy, and other tabs from shortcuts beside Home’s search field.
This update also brings a refreshed color palette, dark and tinted app icons, more device icons, and fixes for sensor history, room temperatures, and server names.
