• The Plan button on Movies no longer removes a showing you have tickets for.
• A showtime countdown you put on the Lock Screen from a stub stays there, and tapping it opens the stub.
• Home moves to the new week, month, or year as it begins, without reopening the app.
• Week streaks count A-List weeks (Friday to Thursday), matching your badges.
• Movie alerts no longer repeat, and Leaving Soon asks for notification permission so its alerts arrive.

Utara 1.1 is faster and adds new ways to see and talk to your cameras.

• Talk through your doorbell: on a doorbell with a speaker, click Talk in the camera view and speak.
• Zoom into any camera: pinch or press ⌘= to zoom up to 8×, then drag to look around.
• Timeline preview: drag the playhead and see each moment before you let go.
• Calmer Review: repeated alerts from the same camera are grouped into one row you can expand or mark reviewed at once.
• Faster all round: Timeline reopens almost instantly, cameras show a picture right away, and background refreshes download a fraction of the data. Utara also uses less network and power while its window is hidden.
• Cloudflare Access: connect to a Frigate published behind Cloudflare Access with a service token.
• Frigate logs in System, your own camera names, and new Shortcuts: Open Camera Group and Get Latest Detection.

• Flowers along the way: as you walk a trail, that month's flowers come up behind you.
• Reach the end of a trail and you'll get a celebration, plus a rosette for each trail you've finished.
• See when you finished a trail and how long it took, then walk it again and try to beat your time.
• Go straight from a finished trail to choosing your next one.
• Trail cards now show each trail's full location.
• Clearer day details on the Rhythm chart.
• A Today button on the walk screen takes you back to the rest of the app, and starting a walk from Trails now opens the walk properly.

This update also improves CarPlay purchase restoration, feed compatibility, syncing, and playback reliability.

Kapal 2.3 brings Siri & Shortcuts, Camera Suggestions, a new vertical Timeline, and your own camera names.

SIRI & SHORTCUTS — KAPAL+
Open a camera, a camera group, Activity, or the latest detection from Siri, the Shortcuts app, a Home Screen shortcut, or the Action button. Filter the latest detection by camera and object type.

CAMERA SUGGESTIONS (BETA) — KAPAL+
Kapal checks a week of your Frigate server’s records for noisy alerts, motion footage with nothing in it, and setup issues. Apply suggested fixes with Undo and see before-and-after results. Applying changes requires a Frigate administrator account.

A NEW VERTICAL TIMELINE — KAPAL+
On iPhone, the Timeline is now vertical, rebuilt to use the screen better so your events and their previews are easier to see. Turn on Preview while scrubbing to see footage as you move through time. On iPad, pull the Timeline panel up to give your busiest cameras their own lanes.

CAMERA NAMES
Kapal now uses the friendly names set in Frigate. Long-press a camera to give it your own name, and it appears in widgets and on Apple Watch too.

PANORAMIC & LARGE STREAMS
Optional per-camera support for dual-lens panoramas and very large streams, with a lighter fallback stream. Turn it on in Manage Cameras.

FIXES AND POLISH
• Added a Full Screen button to iPhone live view that works with Portrait Orientation Lock on.
• Event Details now offers Snapshot and Clip.
• Fixed the playback speed menu showing 2x twice, and kept your chosen speed after pausing and in Picture in Picture.
• “Check two-way audio” now appears only when a check fails.
• A tap brings back live controls on cameras that play through VLC.
• Camera lists sort by the names you see.
• Timeline clips from busy, high-resolution cameras load more reliably and no longer play sped up.
• The Motion list shows quieter motion it used to miss, and its cards play the recording instead of saying none was kept.
• Camera Suggestions can check one camera or all of them.
• Find the 2.3 highlights again in System → Support → What’s New.
• The GenAI card now says when your AI provider isn’t responding.
• Logs is out of beta.

Panoramic and large stream playback depends on your device, camera encoding, and network.

Plan your stops with layouts that adapt to iPhone Duo and improvements for everyday iPhone use.

• See your route planner and map side by side on wider iPhone Duo layouts, with controls that adapt as you open, fold, and rotate the display.
• Search stores and destinations with native search fields, clearer feedback, and better use of space above the keyboard.
• Read onboarding and trip controls more comfortably with larger text sizes.
• Fixed an issue that could prevent first-trip guidance from appearing when starting from the Map tab.

• Live video now connects reliably on iOS 27. A new iOS 27 feature, when turned on, could leave live cameras stuck on "Connecting" or falling back to lower-quality video. Kapal now handles it, so live view starts right away whatever your settings.
• Smoother live playback on cameras that send full frames less often, including many using smart or H.264+ encoding. Video no longer freezes for a few seconds at a time.
• Improved playback diagnostics, so support can track down stream problems faster.

New in 1.4

• Correct your drink log: undo accidental adds, edit amounts and dates, delete entries, and add missed drinks to the right day. Changes sync with Apple Health when connected.
• Quiet reminders, off by default: choose your daily hours, snooze for an hour, or pause anytime. Logging gives you two hours of quiet, and reaching your goal stops reminders for that day.
• Native iPhone Duo layouts for the cover screen and open display, including landscape and larger text.
• A simple update sheet introduces what’s new.

Biru remains completely free and ad-free, with all features included.

Frame Relay is now Duo Ready!

• A redesigned editor for iPhone Duo, with layouts that adapt as you open, close, and rotate the device.
• 12 new original artworks in native 4K, with fresh colors and styles.
• More space for your artwork, with editing tools arranged to suit each screen.
• Refined photo and collage controls, plus better placement for sharing and system actions.

Hearthboard 1.5 is here, and I've been so excited to show you this one. It's the biggest change to how Hearthboard looks since it began.

THREE LOOKS
Pick the look that fits your home: Cards, with each widget on its own card; Material, with widgets set straight on one calm color; or Glass, frosted glass over your own photos. Already using Hearthboard? Tap a look in What's New to try it on your own board. Nothing changes until you keep it, and Settings › Appearance has them any time.

THE HOME BOARD
Your photos fill the top of the screen, with the time set behind the people in them, over a shelf of three widgets. Write your family's name or a birthday there instead of the time if you like. Everyone now starts with a Home Board and a Grid Board, a swipe apart.

ALSO NEW
• Readable from across the room: when no one is close, the time, the weather, your calendar and your lists get big.
• Music shows what's playing on your iPad, with the song's progress and AirPlay right on the widget.
• Long reminders, shopping items and chores wrap onto a second line instead of being cut off.
• Photos, album art and camera pictures dim with the board at night.
• A quicker setup that gets your own calendar, weather and lists on the board in a minute.
• Plenty of fixes and polish throughout.

Introducing Memories, a new home for your child's little moments.

• Recordings, drawings, moods and answers now save automatically on your device.
• Browse a timeline, search words or dates, and explore a full-screen drawing gallery on iPad.
• Memories is now accessed through full-screen Parent Settings, keeping check-ins simple for kids.
• Revisit past answers to the same question and see how their story grows.
• Memories are included in device backups when backups are enabled.
• With an active subscription, send a saved recording, drawing or check-in to one person you choose.

We've also refreshed the app icon, made better use of iPad and iPhone Duo displays, and improved recording recovery, sharing reliability and accessibility.

This update fixes an issue where a past month could show the previous month's activity, so a month's flower and summary didn't match its name. Your history is corrected automatically from Apple Health the first time you open the app after updating.

TURN YOUR FEEDS INTO SHOWS
Turn a favorite site, folder, or mix of feeds into a personal listening show, with one article per chapter. Choose topics, filter out unwanted stories, set the order, and resume at the article and sentence you left. One Show is included free. Leaflet Plus unlocks unlimited Shows and Latest, a short catch-up of new unread stories.

A LISTENING SPACE OF ITS OWN
Keep your listening separate from your reading in Leaflet's dedicated Listen window. Browse Shows and saved articles, adjust your listening settings, and refresh Shows with Command-R.

A HOME FOR YOUR PODCASTS
Follow podcasts in their own library, with Favorites, groups, Continue Listening, and an Up Next queue you can arrange yourself. Stream episodes or download them for offline listening, choose download rules for each podcast, and import or export podcast subscriptions with OPML.

CHAPTERS, TRANSCRIPTS, AND LISTENING TOOLS
Explore chapter artwork, jump from timestamps in episode notes, and share an episode from the current time. Follow publisher transcripts as an episode plays, or create a transcript privately on supported Macs running macOS 26 or later. Choose automatic transcription per podcast and see its progress. Speed controls, sleep timers, and optional Shorten Silences for downloaded episodes let you set the pace. Background playback requires Leaflet Plus.

SAVE SOMETHING FOR YOUR NEXT LISTEN
With Leaflet Plus, save article audio to Listen Later for offline listening and enjoy natural English voices that run privately on your Mac. Article speech has clearer pronunciation for names, numbers, and technical text, with stronger, more consistent natural-voice volume.

NEWSLETTERS ALONGSIDE YOUR FEEDS
Read newsletters delivered through Feedbin in Leaflet's reader, listen to their full text, or include them in a Show. Requires Leaflet Plus and a separate Feedbin subscription.
