Awesome that you added support for Shortcuts so quickly. Thank you! Unfortunately, when the iPad is in Guided Access mode, they don’t run because the Shortcuts app isn’t allowed to open. Is there another way to run them?

Hey! I have been vibe coding a docker container web app for frigate and ran across your app, I love it, ive had it for a couple of days and paid for the extra features just now, so far the one suggestion I have is that for the timeline, have the viewfinder give a timelapse effect by taking a snapshot on the frigate cameras once a minute, maybe set it so the user can turn this on/off, I added it in my web app, which is hosted in docker, not sure how it will work for Kapal. im getting ready to test out the notifications now. Native notifications would also be amazing!

Would be helpful to be able to rename the cameras or at a minimum use the friendly_name from Frigate. Remarkable app overall. Thanks a ton.

I see there’s already an option to display an image/PDF document on a tile, but it would be amazing if you could tap on the tile to open the image/PDF in a full screen scrollable viewer that overlays the rest of the UI until dismissed.

A widget that displays anything. At the minimum a widget that shows a pdf, picture, or webview with the ability to zoom in on only part of it. If it could be a window into an Apple Freeform document then that would solve almost everything.

When cooking, it would be great to have access to a list of items I regularly shop for, such as eggs, flower, sugar, etc. Each time I notice I’m close to running out of one I could simply tick it from the list to add it to my shopping list. Or I could also manually type something to put on the shopping list. This shopping list should then be automatically shared with my iPhone, or automatically/manually shared with other people.

On a per widget basis, add option to keep showing reminders that are completed. And allow toggling between completed and still to do, at will. (If this is implemented, together with the bug fix of the reminders list not being scrollable, then I no longer need the feature request for a groceries list and will be able to work with the build in groceries list of Apple Reminders.)

Please add a drop down list listing all my boards, then followed by a separator, “add a board” and “delete this board.” I keep my iPad mobile and want to be able to create a board per room to control its smart items, plus add a board per key activity, such as morning routine, cooking, cinema, etc. Quickly switching between boards with the drop down list would be key. Having all the boards automatically shared between several iPads would be great too.

Please add support for running shortcuts from the Shortcuts app.

If you group lights in the Home app, the group doesn’t show up in Hearthboard - only the first light in the group shows up, and only that one can be controlled.

I added an event in the calendar app on my phone this afternoon, but it still wasn’t showing on the Hearthboard tile about 10 minutes later.

I launched Calendar app on the iPad and could see the event was definitely there. Went back to Hearthboard and it still wasn’t showing. I force quit Hearthboard and relaunched it, at which point the event DID show up, but another event disappeared (despite showing previously and still being in my actual calendar)!

Thanks for adding full access, however, it’s disappointing that only one speaker can be selected from the list of AirPlay speakers. May be a bug?

Feeling a need for this for photos too now. I could use that as a makeshift fix for my “anything widget” request. I just noticed the pinch and drag option for photos and could save any information as a picture and add it to the board that way. But the ability to resize the widget to any units in width and height would be greatly useful for that purpose. (Note my bug report re. pinch and drag.)

Pinching seems to work fine but I can’t drag the photo all the way to its edge inside the widget frame.

Please add more units for wind speed such as meters per second and knots.

Please add the option to limit calendar widgets to only show the planned items for Today, leaving out those for tomorrow and the following days. This would allow me to better focus on my day. (I haven’t had the opportunity yet to tinker enough with your app but I would like to see all items of Today, even those that already passed. I don’t know if currently your calendar hides any item that has already passed or not.) Thanks!

Please add the option on a per widget base to keep reminders out of the list until n days before their due date. Thanks.

My LG TV is showing in my Home app but doesn’t in Hearthboard. It’s therefore not possible to add it as a widget.

Full access to  music, the current widget for a set playlist or album isn’t enough.

Especially useful for long reminder lists

The list of reminders is cut off to fit the widget if it is physically not large enough to contain them all. The list should be complete and scrollable.
