• Picture in Picture
Keep a camera visible while using other apps on your Apple TV. From the Camera Grid, hold Select and choose Picture in Picture, or press Play/Pause to get started.
• New Tips page
Find helpful remote controls in Settings > Tips, including Picture in Picture, stream information, camera switching, audio, Auto-Rotate, and the photo slideshow.
• Better offline camera previews
Offline cameras now show the last available snapshot when possible. Clear status badges show when the camera last recorded, or when Sandar detected the outage if recording history isn’t available.
• Smoother Camera Grid controls
The selected camera stays highlighted while opening its action menu, and the highlight remains visible longer after navigation. We’ve also fixed the flickering camera menu.
• Clearer display settings
Grid Columns and Stream Mode options are easier to see, with improved contrast and clearer selection indicators.
• Improved startup
Sandar now waits for camera loading to finish before showing an empty camera message.
Picture in Picture also includes a one-time introduction and brief reminders to help you discover the controls.
