Already use Frigate NVR? Sandar brings your cameras to Apple TV in a native experience designed for at-a-glance monitoring from the couch or as a dedicated security display.

Sandar connects to your existing Frigate server and supports both authenticated and unauthenticated installations. It does not include or configure an NVR, and no Sandar account is required.

LIVE CAMERA GRID
See every camera in a clean, customizable grid with two to six columns. Enable fast-refresh snapshot previews, open any camera for full-screen live video, and tailor the layout to your system.

DETECTION-AWARE VIEWING
When Frigate detects a person, car, or another configured object, Sandar highlights the active feed and can move cameras with activity to the front of the grid.

PHOTO SCREENSAVER
Display All Photos, Favorites, Recent, or an iCloud Shared Album inside Sandar. When activity is detected, Sandar can switch from the slideshow to the active cameras, then return to your photos after the event clears.

BIRDSEYE
Put Frigate’s combined Birdseye view front and center for an at-a-glance look across your property. Requires Birdseye to be enabled on your Frigate server.

AUTO-ROTATE
Create a dedicated camera monitor that cycles through selected feeds automatically. Choose which cameras to include and how long each camera stays on screen.

ADAPTIVE STREAMING
Sandar detects your Frigate version and go2rtc configuration, then selects the best supported playback route. It supports native MSE playback for Frigate 0.18 and later, legacy HLS for older supported releases, and direct go2rtc playback when available.

Main streams, substreams, and snapshots provide multiple fallback levels when a camera or playback route is unavailable. Choose Quality for live video or Performance for lower-resource snapshot viewing, with optional overrides for individual cameras.

CAMERA PRIVACY
Camera feeds connect directly from your Apple TV to your Frigate server. Sandar does not upload your camera video or photos, and access to your Apple TV photo library is optional.

• Apple TV running tvOS 18.6 or later
• Frigate NVR 0.16 or later
