What’s New

This update makes Fifteeen smarter, clearer, and a little easier to trust.

  • Apple Intelligence now explains why it is unavailable, whether it is unsupported hardware, setup status, model preparation, or a generation error.
  • Long writing sessions are prepared more safely before analysis, using token-aware trimming when available.
  • If Apple Intelligence falls back and nothing structured is found, Fifteeen now still saves a basic diary item instead of leaving the review empty.
  • Settings now shows Apple Intelligence availability, with a refresh option.
  • Settings are now available directly in the app interface for easier access.
  • The map now supports search across titles or content, with live highlighting and dimming.
  • Map zoom controls were added.
  • Saved session notes now lead with the readable “Session Notes” version, followed by the breakdown and original draft.
  • Follow-through files are now saved with stronger markers so updates and removals stay in sync.

And yes, the no-editing philosophy remains intact for now. I still cannot tell whether this will cure my need to fix every typo, cause a tiny personal crisis, or finally make me better at typing. I am rooting for the typing.

Kapal+ Health Alerts are here. Offline camera alerts have been expanded into a new Health Alerts section, now with low-storage warnings for your Frigate storage locations.

This update includes:

  • New low-storage alerts with per-storage GB thresholds
  • Health Alerts now combines camera offline alerts and storage alerts in one place
  • Fresh health checks when opening the Health Alerts page, so camera status and storage amounts are up to date
  • Improved playback compatibility for some H.265/HEVC event clips, including cameras that produce hev1 tagged video files
  • Video playback errors are now shown in a cleaner location instead of covering the video preview
  • Smoother live camera snapshots with less bursty loading, better WebP handling, and improved fallback behavior on slower Frigate systems
  • More forgiving local connection checks for slower networks, VPNs, and busy Frigate servers
  • Improved filter loading so cached camera and label filters are preserved when startup metadata is slow to respond
  • Fixed an Activity by Camera text layout issue in System stats
  • General polish and reliability improvements for alert handling, playback, snapshots, and connection handling

A sincere thank you to everyone who reaches out with logs, screenshots, camera models, and detailed issue reports. That feedback is a huge part of why I can keep improving Kapal across more real-world Frigate setups. My family will only let me buy so many cameras, so reports from your systems help me fix things I could not reproduce on my own.

If you run into any issues, please email me from inside the app. Those reports really do help shape fixes and improvements.

New Feature: Timeline (Kapal+)

Timeline is now in Kapal+ as an early release, and I’m genuinely excited to finally ship it. It’s already usable and already useful, and we’re committed to improving it over the next few months based on how you use it.

What this changes for you:

  • Quickly jump through your Frigate history with Timeline scrubbing and go straight to event moments, instead of hunting through clips one by one.
  • See everything that happened around an event, not just one camera at a time, with Play all cameras at once for much better context.
  • Use local network playback where needed (Only on local network) for better reliability in busier environments.
  • Turn on settings that match your workflow, like Default zoom, Snap to events, and Group related events, to review events your way.

Thanks to everyone supporting the app. Your support has made this possible.

We also added the most requested feature with the same focus on real-world use: practical, hands-on monitoring that can actually be used daily. For feedback, suggestions, or bug reports:

  • Use Contact Support from the App section in the app, or
  • Email us at support@judeworks.app

Need ideas for fixes or features? Check out Roadmap in-app and submit your request directly.

IconForge Asset Maker is a focused Mac utility for preparing app icons for Xcode asset catalogs.

Drop in a large square image, choose the platforms you support, pick an output folder, and export ready-to-use .appiconset folders. IconForge writes the expected Contents.json files and PNG sizes so you can replace the asset catalog in your project without hand-building every slot.

Built for Apple developers:

  • Create iOS and iPadOS universal 1024px icons, including default, dark, and tinted variants
  • Create macOS icon sizes from 16px through 1024px
  • Create watchOS 1024px icon sets
  • Export directly into an existing Assets.xcassets folder or create a new asset catalog
  • Drag and drop source images, or choose an image from Finder
  • Save your default output folder and platform choices for repeat exports
  • Get clear install instructions after every export

IconForge handles the packaging step after your artwork is ready. Your source image stays on your Mac, and the app exports the PNGs and Contents.json files needed for Xcode asset catalogs.

For developers shipping across Apple platforms, IconForge keeps app icon setup practical: one source image in, Xcode-compatible asset folders out.

Brand new Daily Land widgets are here.

You can now add Tiny Habits widgets to your Home Screen and Lock Screen to watch your world grow throughout the day. Choose between a top-down view or a perspective view with sky and horizon, with progress updating based on your daily goals.

This update also improves the reliability, accuracy, and visual consistency of monthly planet growth, including progress tracking across different month lengths, Health data refresh handling, goal and metric changes, previous-month syncing, sleep tracking, month-end notifications, purchases, widget refreshes, and playback consistency.

History views now better match the main planet view, including lighting, spin rate, stat layout, and sharing exports.

Overall, your planet and widgets should now reflect your habits more reliably, look more consistent across views, and avoid more edge-case issues.

Turn a spare iPad into the shared screen for your home: calendars, chores, photos, weather, music, and smart home controls in one calm place.

Hearthboard turns an iPad into the shared reference point for your home.

Mount it on the wall, set it on the kitchen counter, keep it by the entryway, or place it anywhere your family naturally looks during the day. Hearthboard gives everyone in the house one calm screen for the things that matter: what is happening, what needs doing, what is playing, what the weather looks like, and what is going on around the home.

It is not a rigid dashboard with one fixed idea of what your family needs. It is a flexible board you build yourself.

Make it a family command center.
Make it a photo frame.
Make it a kitchen calendar.
Make it a smart home controller.
Make it a morning launchpad, an evening wind-down screen, or a quiet reference board for the room.

Add widgets for:

  • Clocks in digital, analog, word, flip, and bold styles
  • Calendar agendas, next events, daily remaining time, and availability
  • Reminders and household tasks, including Today-focused views
  • Photos, albums, slideshows, and Live Photos
  • Weather from WeatherKit by postal code
  • Apple Music albums and playlists with playback controls
  • HomeKit accessories, scenes, cameras, lights, climate, locks, fans, sensors, blinds, garage doors, and more

Built for a real home:

  • A flexible grid that works in portrait or landscape
  • Drag-and-drop editing for quick rearranging
  • Separate layouts for different orientations
  • A starter board builder for fast setup
  • Light and dark appearance support
  • Global accent color options
  • Permission prompts only when a feature needs access

Hearthboard Pro is a one-time purchase for homes that want the full always-on display experience:

  • Unlimited widgets
  • Sleep schedule for an overnight black screen
  • Wake on approach with motion detection
  • Idle photo wallpaper
  • Live Photo motion playback

Privacy:
Hearthboard uses Apple frameworks such as Photos, Calendar, Reminders, HomeKit, MusicKit, StoreKit, and WeatherKit. Your personal home, calendar, reminder, photo, and music data stays on your device and is used only for the widgets you choose.

Some features require compatible Apple services, permissions, hardware, or subscriptions. HomeKit features require a configured Apple Home. Apple Music playback requires Apple Music access and available media. Weather requires network access.

TVPreppr helps developers and designers prepare TV app icons and Top Shelf artwork without guessing sizes, crops, or Xcode asset catalog structure.

Drop in your artwork, choose whether to use one source image or separate app icon and Top Shelf images, adjust each crop, and export a ready-to-use asset catalog.

TVPreppr creates the required TV app artwork variants:

  • Layered Home Screen app icon assets
  • Store display icon assets
  • Standard Top Shelf image assets
  • Wide Top Shelf image assets

Each output is generated at the expected pixel dimensions and packaged as Xcode-compatible asset catalog folders. Export a complete TVPrepprAssets.xcassets catalog for a fresh drop-in, or export only AppIcon.brandassets when you are adding the assets to an existing Assets.xcassets catalog.

Built for the details that usually slow down TV app asset prep:

  • Exact image dimensions for the supported TV asset formats
  • Separate crop controls for each aspect ratio
  • Single-image and separate-image source modes
  • Preview before export
  • Xcode-ready .xcassets and .brandassets outputs
  • Local image processing on your Mac

TVPreppr is focused, practical, and made for the last mile of TV app asset preparation.

From Someone Who Has Walked Every Block

I have put in real miles for this — backstreets behind Nipponbashi, multi-floor buildings in Akihabara where the best stuff is always on the third or fourth floor, hard-to-find Hard Offs in small towns where a single shelf can surprise you more than a dozen obvious stops. Countless hours of research at home, watching every video, reading every forum thread, mapping out routes before every trip — and still coming home having missed a restock by a day or stumbling onto something incredible that nobody had written about yet.

Retro Kari was born out of that obsession. The best information existed only in someone's head, a year-old YouTube video, or a Discord message that had already scrolled past. There was no living record of what was actually on the shelves this week. No way to know which store near your hotel was worth the walk today, not six months ago.

So I built a platform for people like me. Retro Kari. レトロ狩り. Retro hunting.

AN EXTRA RESOURCE IN YOUR POCKET

Retro Kari is a community-driven intel platform for retro game hunters in Japan. It brings together hunters who've been there, done the research, and want to share what they know so others don't have to start from scratch. The app includes many well-known stores across Japan's major hunting spots, with more added continuously through community submissions.

Visit a store, post a quick report — platforms spotted, price signals, a shelf photo if you have one — and other hunters confirm or dispute it. Reports expire automatically so what you see on the map reflects now, not six months ago. Stale intel is worse than no intel.

THE COMMUNITY I HOPE THIS BECOMES

No single person can cover Japan. But together, hunters can build something genuinely useful — a shared resource that gets sharper every time someone contributes. Someone posts a restock spotted on a Tuesday morning and saves the next person a wasted trip on Wednesday. A local shares a store that never makes the travel blogs. A first-time visitor uses that tip to find the best thing they brought home.

· Travelers arrive with better intel and fewer gaps in their itinerary
· Experienced hunters pass on knowledge that took years to build
· People help each other find what's on their list — and what they didn't know they were looking for
· New stores get discovered and documented by the community itself
· Trust builds over time through confirmed reports and a reputation that follows your handle

The Scout Pass supports the features that make the network stronger and funds keeping the platform growing.

FEATURES

Map-first discovery with freshness and heat signals at a glance
Intel reports with platform tags, price signals, and shelf photos
Confirm / Dispute to surface what's real and flag what's outdated
Photo rounds — dated shelf photo sets so you can see what changed
Store profiles with floor info, directions tips, and haul reports
Community store submissions
Planner (Scout Pass) — multi-base trip planning around your hotels with walking routes
Private notes synced across your devices
Intel Feed for stores and regions you're watching
Sign in with Apple — no password, no tracking

Retro Kari grows every time someone adds a store, posts a report, or confirms what another hunter found. The goal is a resource that every hunter — whether it's their first trip or their fifteenth — is glad they had in their pocket.

If that's you — welcome to the hunt.

Bring your day out of the phone and into your hands.

MonoPress is built for focus. When your plan is printed on paper, your attention isn’t split across notifications, widgets, and screens — you have one physical sheet you can hold, mark, and return to throughout the day.

Use MonoPress to design clean, distraction-free daily sheets with tasks, notes, separators, and quick structure. Print once and carry it with you. Cross items off as you go, leave room for notes, and stay grounded in the work that matters, not in the noise around you.

Get started with free features to build templates, customize your layout, print to supported printers, and keep recent print history. Pro adds smart daily productivity extras: today’s calendar events, due reminders, a morning reminder to print, quick one-tap printing, and a custom sheet header.

Set up a morning notification, and when it fires you can print your day with one tap — all current day events and reminders added fast into the template you choose. You can customize that one-tap print to be any saved template, so your morning workflow is exactly how you like it.

Built for people who work better with something tangible in front of them, MonoPress keeps planning physical, simple, and on-track.

Compatible printers (MVP):
Network-connected Epson thermal printers only.
Supported models: Epson TM-T88VII, Epson TM-T88VI, Epson TM-M30.

If you already have one of these printers, please try the free version first to confirm everything works before buying MonoPress Pro.

Fifteeen is a 15-minute thinking tool for getting everything out of your head.

Open the app, start typing, and keep going. No editing. No deleting. No polishing. No organizing. Just write whatever is on your mind: worries, reminders, ideas, half-formed thoughts, tasks, feelings, decisions, distractions, and everything else taking up space in your brain.

The constraint is the point.

Most notes apps ask you to be organized before you even understand what you are thinking. Fifteeen does the opposite. It gives you a space to be messy first, then helps you find the signal afterward.

When you get stuck, Fifteeen gives you lightweight thought-starters to keep you moving. Pick one, respond to it, and jump right back into the flow. It is guided without becoming a chatbot: a nudge, not a detour.

When your session ends, AI reviews the raw writing and breaks it down into useful pieces: journal entries, themes, emotions, ideas, open loops, tasks, reminders, calendar events, and things worth revisiting.

Every session is saved in an Obsidian-friendly Markdown format, so your writing does not disappear into another closed app. Your notes stay searchable, linkable, taggable, and ready to build on.

Fifteeen is part brain dump, part journal, part thinking partner, and part task-capture tool.

It is for people whose minds have too many tabs open: people who do not need another productivity system before they start, they need a place to unload first.

Don’t fix it. Follow it.
